Team Highlights

Highlights of 2020:
- The girls tennis team finished in 2nd place in the Empire League and qualified for CIF playoffs for the first time in school history!
- The doubles team of Elise Neuhoff and Rachel Bonsangue were finalists in the Empire League individual finals and were invited to compete in the CIF Individual Playoffs.
Highlights of 2014:
- Congratulations to senior Jaclyn Findlay for committing to LMU. Crean is so proud of her and all of her accomplishments and we can't wait to watch her play tennis at LMU. Way to go Jackie!
- JoAnn Taylor & Tiffany Wu take 5th place in doubles in Academy League. Jaclyn Findlay takes 3rd place in singles & Christie Kittelsen takes 5th place.
Highlights of 2013:
- Congratulations to Lorna Morris and Christie Kittelsen for taking 1st and 2nd in Academy League!
10-30-14: Congratulations to Jaclyn Findlay, Christie Kittelsen, and JoAnn Taylor & Tiffany Wu. Jaclyn Findlay is #4 in League for singles, Christie #5 in singles, and JoAnn and Tiffany were placed at #5 in League for doubles. All of these girls were placed in the top 10 of our League. Way to go girls!
10-28-14: The Girls Tennis team battled hard yesterday in League Finals. Christie Kittelsen played Nicole Condas from Sage High School and won 7-5, 3-6, (10-2). She then went on to win her 2nd round and then lost in the 3rd round to Kayla Kiani from SMES, 3-6, 3-6. Doubles team JoAnn Taylor & Tiffany Wu won the first round 3-6, 7-5, (10-5), the 2nd round 6-0, 6-2, and then lost in the third round to Yu & Tarsadia from Sage High School 0-6, 2-6. Jaclyn Findlay, #2 seed in the tournament, beat Isabella Deckey from Sage High School in the quarterfinals 6-2, 6-2. She will be playing in the Semifinals today against Michelle Hyun from Whitney. Good luck Jaclyn! Allyson Armstrong, Michaela Paugh, Sherry Liang, Annalise Buskirk, and Junell Brown also had some amazing matches. All the girls battled and played hard as a team. Way to go Saints and good job on a great season!
9-11-14: Congratulations to the Girls Tennis team for defeating Santa Ana High School on Thursday 13-5. There were wins across the board from both singles and doubles. Team Captain, Christie Kittelsen swept all her matches as well as Joann Taylor. The Saints take on Foothill High School this Tuesday. Good luck Saints!
9-4-14: The Girls Tennis team beat Costa Mesa High School 11-7. Jaclyn Findlay swept in all her matches 6-0, 6-0, & 6-0 as well as number one doubles team Sherry Liang & Mikki Paugh 6-4, 6-2, 6-0. It was a team effort and a great way to start the season.
9-4-14: The Girls Tennis team beat Costa Mesa High School 11-7. Jaclyn Findlay swept in all her matches 6-0, 6-0, & 6-0 as well as number one doubles team Sherry Liang & Mikki Paugh 6-4, 6-2, 6-0. It was a team effort and a great way to start the season.
10-30-13: Lorna Morris and Christie Kittelsen advanced to the Academy League singles championship via tiebreakers in the semifinals. Both of their singles matches went into third set super tie breakers. Kittelsen beat the No. 1 seed of Sage High School 6-3, 2-6, 11-9. Morris came from behind and beat St. Margaret's Emma Butler 4-6, 6-3, 11-9. Morris won the first set against Kittelsen and was leading the second set 4-1 before Kittelsen defaulted due to muscle cramps. Congrats to Lorna Morris and Christie Kittelsen for taking 1st and 2nd in League! Go Saints!
10-1-13: The girls played an awesome match against SVCS! Number 1 and 2 singles swept all three matches as well as the number 1 doubles team. The Saints won 13-5!
9-18-13: The Saints played a hard match and battled with Costa Mesa High School. It came down to the end and the Saints were able to pull off a win. Saints won 10-8!
9-14-13: Congratulations to Lorna Morris for winning the Compass Tournament this last weekend. Lorna had an amazing weekend of matches! She won five rounds and ended her last match winning the championship.
