Our primary mission is to serve as ambassadors for Jesus Christ and for Crean Lutheran High School. Dedicated to upholding Christian values, team spirit, and servant leadership, the Spiritleaders interact with the crowd, the school and the community to generate Christ-like enthusiasm and encouragement. Our team participates in competitions for God’s glory. We are dedicated to raising up strong, empowered leaders with the heart of Christ, in order to develop a community of passionate and mature disciples who will transform the world by love, leadership, and service.
Our spirit program brings school spirit to our sporting events, pep rallies and other school events; entertaining and exciting the audiences.

hayley parido - Head cheer Coach
Hayley Parido is thrilled to join the Crean Lutheran Spirit Program as the Head Cheer Coach. She cheered at Esperanza High School from 2008-2012 on both their sideline and competition teams, winning multiple titles. After graduating high school, she started her coaching career with El Modena High School, where she grew the program to include a successful competitive cheer team. With over 8 years of coaching experience at both the high school and all star level, Hayley has led teams to multiple local and national championships. She is excited to bring her experience and passion to the Crean Lutheran Spirit Program, eager to help the team grow and guide the girls through high school and beyond.

Paula Rabbitt - Head Song Coach
Paula Rabbitt is starting her 3rd year of coaching the Song team at Crean Lutheran. She has danced since she was 5 years old. At the age of 15, she started teaching dance classes at her studio. She was on her high school dance and drill teams as well as dancing with The Fresno Dance Repertory and performing with the Jazz Company Dancers. She taught dance with a local studio up until her 17th week of pregnancy with her triplets. She was also involved with her oldest daughter’s high school dance team as a board member of their booster program. Paula also works as a Pilates Instructor with her Special Populations in Pilates for dancers and hypermobility.
Paula has been married to her husband Jeff for 30 years. Together they have 5 children. Charisma, Kanon, (Crean alumni), and triplets Keldan, Caris, and Kingston who are Juniors here at Crean Lutheran. She was involved for many years as a volunteer for both the Fullerton School District and Joint Union High School Districts as well as Christ Lutheran School in Brea. She has held numerous positions from volunteering in the classroom to positions on the PTA and as the President of the Fullerton Council of PTAs. A position that involved working closely with superintendents, the school board, and all PTA Presidents in the district along with Council Presidents from all over Orange County. She also worked with legislators in Sacramento on funding and programs for our California schools. She hopes to not only inspire, teach, and guide the girls but to help them see their worth and value in today's world.

Payton perkins - assistant cheer Coach
Payton Perkins is so excited to be joining the Crean Lutheran Spirit Program as the Assistant Cheer Coach. She currently attends the California State University of Long Beach, majoring in family and consumer sciences and working to become a teacher. She was a competitive gymnast for 7 years before joining her city cheer team in Jr. High. She continued her cheer career at El Dorado High School, where she was a Varsity team member from her freshman year when she and her team earned the UCA national champion title. Payton went on to coach gymnastics for 4 years after her cheer career. She is ready to return to the cheer world and give her all to the team!

Ava stevins - Assistant Song Coach
Ava Stevins is excited to join the Crean Lutheran coaching staff, serving as the Assistant Song Coach! She currently attends California Baptist University, where she is majoring in engineering. She is also a member of the CBU D1 dance team. Ava has been dancing since she was four years old and has trained in many different styles of dance while also competing for many years. She was a captain on both dance teams at Orange Lutheran High School. After high school, she has been fortunate enough to teach at different studios ranging from ages three to eighteen. Ava is excited to start this next stage in life and to be a part of this year’s team!

Jordan robbins - assistant Song Coach
Jordan Robbins is joining the Crean Lutheran Spirit Program as the Assistant Song Coach! She graduated from Chapman University this Spring, majoring in History and double minoring in Secondary Education and Dance. She is currently at Chapman for her Master's in Curriculum and Instruction with the hopes of becoming a high school history teacher after graduation. At Chapman, she was captain of their cheer team, lead editor for their history journal, and a member of the history honor's society as well as the education honor's society. She has been dancing for as long as she can remember and competed in UDA and NDA competitions in high school. She is thrilled to be joining the Spirit staff and be a part of such an amazing team!

Yuma Kainuma - assistant Song Coach
Yuma Kainuma is a student at the University of California, Irvine, where she is majoring in Dance and additionally pursuing a double major in Public Health. Her extensive background includes being part of the Crean Lutheran Song and Competition Song teams her four years of high school.
Yuma has been passionate about dance since she was just 3 years old and continued to hone her skills through her participation at her studio and in the dance program at Crean Lutheran. She is genuinely excited to be back and eager to share her knowledge and talent with all the girls as they navigate their high school years.
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

megan morphis - spirit advisor
Megan Morphis is excited to serve in her third year as the Saints Spirit Advisor and feels blessed to be a part of the Saints Spirit program at Crean Lutheran High School. She has been dancing for over 25 years, training in various styles including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, and pointe. Megan was a member of the Troy High School dance team and was a captain during her senior year. Throughout high school, Megan won numerous awards as a soloist and team member including Miss Dance/Drill Team International 1st Runner Up. She continued her education and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Dance from California State University, Long Beach where she studied modern, ballet, pointe, hip hop, and choreography.
Megan served in the dance ministry at Rock Harbor Church for over six years where she was blessed to choreograph and dance at many Christmas and Easter services. She was a company member of Andy Vaca’s Jazzworks-Long Beach and has been a guest choreographer at Concordia University, Irvine, and for other local charity events. Megan has been a dance teacher for over twelve years and has been on staff at Crean Lutheran High School for over seven years. She currently teaches Dance 1, Honors Dance 2, Honors Dance 3, and Honors Dance Ensemble and is the advisor for the National Honor Society for Dance Arts. She hopes to use the gifts that God has given her to bless the spirit leaders, coaches, and the Spirit Program!

Jamie gazzano - spirit coordinator
Jamie Gazzano feels both thrilled and blessed to be a part of our Crean Lutheran Spirit Program as the Spirit Coordinator. She has been a dancer since she was 4 years old, concentrating on ballet during her high school years, and was the Captain of her Varsity Song squad at Fountain Valley High School over 25 years ago. She continued to dance throughout college, and still takes tap classes for fun each week.
Jamie is starting her 3rd academic year as a School Counselor at Crean Lutheran High School. She has been in Lutheran education for over 15 years. She is an alumni of Concordia University Irvine, with a Bachelor’s in Liberal Studies with a Child Development concentration, and a Masters of Education with a PPS credential. She is currently completing a certificate in College Planning at the University of California, San Diego. Concordia is where she also started her career as an Admissions Counselor after college, before having her 2 children. Jamie also worked for over 6 years at Red Hill Lutheran School before making her way to Crean. There she loved working where her daughters go to school and was also the PTF President for 2 years.
Jamie absolutely loves her job and working here at Crean Lutheran High School. She loves working with students and cannot wait to work closely with those in the Spirit Program. Jamie believes that God has led her to Crean to support students in their high school journeys and future paths. She was recently married to her wonderful husband Jonathan, and will be celebrating one year of marriage and blending their incredible (mini Brady Bunch) family in July. They share 2 boys and 2 girls: Jayden (24) Emory (13), Michael (10), and Elise (9). Jamie loves to dance, and although God gave her 2 girls, neither is a dancer. She is still hoping for a cheerleader, as Elise just started tumbling a couple of months ago. Either way, they are amazing!

Song/Pom Team
Song/Pom Team
Song/Pom is a fusion of dance technique combined with cheer motions and spirit. Our song leaders are cheering and dancing on the sidelines for football and basketball season, as well as various school events. We perform during quarter breaks, timeouts, and halftime. Tryouts for our song competition team will be held later in the fall.

2016
A Special congratulations to Anna Ellwein and Tivoli Treloar for making All American All Stars at USA camp this summer! Also our Varsity team brought home a superior plaque and JV a spirit award!
JV Song attended USA regionals and qualified for nationals! This was their very first competition and we are so proud them. Go support on March 18th at the Anaheim Convention Center!
2015
This summer our song teams attended the UDA (Universal Dance Association) at University of San Diego. Our girls got superior ratings on all evaluations. We brought home a 2 spirit awards for both JV and Varsity Song. Our Varsity Song team had a special evaluation and received the Team Full Out Award for their excellent performance. We are so excited to represent our Saints!

A special congratulations to Alyssa Needham and Ashley Zhang for making All American All Stars 2014!! They have the opportunity to attend London and perform in the new year's day parade 2015!

Sideline Cheer Team
Sideline Cheer Team
The Saints Cheer Program is a discipline of cheer that involves athletes in a scholastic setting who cheer in support of other sports, most often football and basketball. The sideline cheerleaders' primary role is supporting the other athletic programs through leading the crowd at games and pep rallies as well as promoting school spirit overall. The cheerleaders may also participate in competitions, performing a 2 1/2 minute routine composed of tumbling, stunting, pyramids, dance, and cheer segments.
