Boys Beach Volleyball
Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity. Psalm 133:1
Saints Boys Volleyball is a Christ-centered program that competes on the Beach in the Fall and Indoor in the Spring. We practice on our own athletic complex sand volleyball courts, Saints Beach, and we compete at Huntington State Beach. The Fall Beach roster competes in the OCVBL, a local beach volleyball league including several beach city and south Orange County schools. Matches include five doubles seeds as well as one 4v4, providing a competitive off-season for our indoor program. Saints Boys Volleyball is a competitive, elite level high school program and is blessed to compete against the best teams in the area.

12th year of teaching in Christian High schools
My name is Wes Bareford and this is my 11th year teaching at Crean Lutheran High School. My wife, Janet, and I met at Concordia University, Irvine. We have three children: Jacob (11yrs), Sierra (3yrs), and Micah (2yr). Our children are such a joy to us. God has blessed me with so much - family, ministry, health... Most of all, God has blessed me, all of us, with his Son Jesus. I like the above verse, because it reminds me that God’s kingdom is here and now. Wherever there is a community of believers, however big or small, God is present in His Word and Spirit, blessing his family with his grace, his love, and his fellowship. It is good to be a child in God’s household, and I am so content to be part of his family at Crean. My prayer is that each and everyone one of our students grows to appreciate the community at Crean for what it is – a family, each one of us beloved to our heavenly Father.
As God blessed Abraham to be a blessing to others, I pray that God will use me, and the gift of teaching he has given me, to be a blessing to my students. I am so thankful that I can teach at a Christian school, where we can talk openly about Jesus and pray in his name. What a privilege to read aloud, study, and teach the bible in a high school classroom!
I believe that teenagers actually enjoy using their God-given brain, even if they think otherwise. I strive to teach my students how to think as we discuss God's Word. I see teaching theology as an opportunity to give my students Jesus in all that we study together. Looking forward to an awesome school year, I hope to share Jesus with my students in every lesson.
