Honors Societies

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

Crean Lutheran High School offers nine prestigious honor societies, which include the National Honor Society (NHS), National Art Honor Society (NAHS), Science National Honor Society (SNHS), National English Honor Society (NEHS), National Honor Society for Dance Arts (NHSDA), Tri-M Music Honor Society (NMHS), Multilingual Society Chapter (MSC), International Thespian Society (ITS), and the Mu Alpha Theta National Mathematics Honor Society (MAT). These honor societies empower and equip our students to excel in specific field areas, service, servant-leadership, and Christ-like character. Students have the opportunity to actively participate in our honor societies through attendance in monthly meetings, obtaining service hours, taking courses, attending events, and participating in field trips. Students who complete a minimum of two years in one of our honor societies and complete the member requirements will receive a special honor society distinction on their transcripts at the discretion of the Honor Society Advisor or Honor Society Coordinator.

Applications for all Crean Lutheran Honor Societies open in January for the following school year.
